Saucony's 16th version of the Ride has changed things up! The enclosing upper made of soft, airy functional mesh provides effective ventilation and stable support. The midsole of proven PWRRUN cushioning foam has been increased by 2.5mm in the current model without changing the weight. In this way, it is even softer and guarantees even better shock absorption and energy return on your running laps. The flexible outsole scores with decent traction and is best suited for asphalt and well-paved trails.
The evolution has definitely succeeded and the Ride 16 can cover several areas. So you can train with it daily due to the great cushioning, but also include fast sessions, since it has a low weight. It is certainly a good choice, as even more flexible, even more durable, even more comfortable. Test it yourself and feel the difference to its predecessor. Take it off you definitely do not want more.

Take a piece of paper (A4) and place it on a flat, stable surface (we recommend the floor). Place your right foot (or your stronger, longer foot) diagonally, so that it fits completely within the sheet of paper.
With the thinnest possible pen, starting with the heel of your foot start to trace around your foot, you continue until you complete the entire foot (see Fig.). If you choose, you can trace only the longest point of your foot, that would suffice.
Next, you have to measure the width of your stronger / longer foot. Measure this with a ruler or tape measure the distances between the two points that are furthest apart in [cm/in] (see Figure - vertical line).
Important: Then You add [1 centimeter (cm)/ ½ an inch (.5”)] to and have your exact running shoe size in [cm/in] determined!
Example: Your measurement has resulted in a distance of [27 cm/10”]. Now add [1 cm/.5”] to find your shoe size is [28 cm/10.5”]!
